Tool for re-cutting dirty, stiff or slightly damaged M14 spark plug threads.

If the spark plugs are difficult to turn or cannot be properly fitted during replacement, precautionary re-cutting of the thread can prevent major damage. Lightly grease the tool to keep dirt and abrasion away from the cylinder.

Heavily damaged or torn spark plug threads can be repaired with threaded sleeves. Then use, for example, the Skandix 1072296 tool kit.
