Type 940:
Up to model year 1993, up to vehicle identification number 117421 for the station wagon and 174372 for the sedan, a Koyo steering system can also be installed. In this case, a replacement steering system only fits in conjunction with new connecting hoses! (Volvo 3516374 and 9191449).
From 1994, this steering gear is considered a replacement for production number 1387501.

Condition of used parts upon return

The proportion of reconditioned spare parts is increasing significantly in the automotive aftermarket. Vehicle manufacturers support this trend because it protects the environment and conserves resources. However, only parts that have failed due to normal wear and tear can be reconditioned. Parts that show external damage due to impact, accidents, or severe corrosion, for example, cannot be reconditioned and must be scrapped.

Refund of the deposit value requires the return of a recyclable old part. Here is a checklist of the basic requirements that must be met:

- Old part corresponds to the delivered replacement part
- Old part complete and assembled
- Old part free of fluid residue
- Old part without mechanical damage to the housing
- Old part free of accidental damage
- Old part in the packaging supplied by Skandix for the replacement part

Old parts that do not meet these requirements will be scrapped; the deposit amount will not be refunded!
