Belt buckle for mounting on the transmission tunnel. For use only with automatic retrofit seat belts. An alternative to seat belt stalks, which can protrude into the seat, particularly in the P1800.
Version without seat belt warning function.
For a cleaner appearance, the supplied stops can be used to lock both belt buckles in the same position.
The stops must be installed with the flattened side facing upwards.
Service instructions:
Volvo Amazon: You may not be able to bolt it right on without hitting the seat; the part is asymmetric, therefor the right side takes more space from the centre. Solutions:
- mount the seat a bit more towards the outside
- make the centre hole in the catch assembly a little oval to be able to mount it out of the centre
- drill a new hole into the tunnel to be able to mount the catch a little more to the left side
Its a matter of a few millimeter
