Due to differences in suppliers, pulleys may already be pressed onto the vehicle that are not necessarily compatible. These may need to be replaced. Therefore, we list the item as "without pulley" – even if one is already installed.

Condition of core returns

the percentage of refurbished spare parts is increasing steadily. The vehicle manufacturers support this development because it preserves the environment and limited resources.

But also remanufacturing has it´s limits, only parts that failed due to usual wear can be refurbished. Parts damaged by an accident, undue force or extensive corrosion can often not be rebuild and have to be scrapped.

The refund of core charges depends on the return of a re-usable part.

Please see below check-list showing the mandatory requirements:

-old part precisely corresponds
-old part is complete and not disassembled
-old part is without liquids, oils etc
-old part shows no mechanical damages like e.g. broken housings due to accidents etc.
-old part is returned in the box the new part was delivered in

Service instructions:

There are special tools for removing and replacing the pulley.

Under no circumstances should the pump be placed under a hydraulic press to remove the pulley. If this were to take place, the pulley would fall out of its housing!
