Suitable for all Volvo Amazon* with factory fitted disc brakes at the front axle and drum brakes at the rear, as well as for all Volvo P1800*.
On these cars the brake is adjusted manually. You can idenfiticate the manual adjuster by the fact that a square is looking out the rear of the brake backing plate. The "block" on the bottom between the brake shoes is the adjuster.
*Note for Volvo Amazon and P1800 from 1967 to 1968:
Brake shoes suitable for manually adjustable drum brakes on cars with 1-circuit brake system (1 brake line on master cylinder).
*Note for cars from 1969 onwards:
Fits the Volvo 122 (from 1969) and P1800S (only 1969) with real 2-circuit brake system, recognizable by the fact that 2 brake hoses lead to the rear axle. Here the brake is self-adjusting, the "block" at the bottom between the brake shoes is only a counter bearing.
