M90 conversion kit from dual mass to solid flywheel

09.12.2021The dual mass flywheel is not longer available. This conversion kit includes all necessary parts to replace it by a solid flywheel.
The conversion kit.
Turn the engine to TDC according to the mark.
Disconnect the prop shaft from the gear box.
Disconnect the prop shaft from the rear axle.
Unscrew the prop shaft´s center support from the chassis.
Remove the prop shaft.
Disconnect the gear lever from it´s lower joint.
Remove the grub screw.
Save the grub screw for later use!!
Push out the pin.
Remove cotter pin and stud.
Removing the stud.
Release the clutch slave cylinder.
Pull off the circlip.
The removed slave cylinder.
Now unscrew the bell housing. The upper screws are hard to see.
The shown tool construction has proven to be useful. Though it´s a matter of the mechanic´s preferences to use an air drill or something else.
Unscrew the gear box cross brace. Meanwhile don´t forget to support the gear box!
Also remove the front axle support.
Now remove the gear box.
