For Volvo V60 (-18) and V60CC (-18):
In order to create the necessary storage space for the spare wheel, a raised loading platform is required. See article 1081849 or 1101211.
Service instructions:
The following safety aspects must be observed:
- The spare wheel is only for temporary use and should be replaced with a normal wheel as soon as possible.
- The driving characteristics can change, spare wheels are usually smaller than normal ones. Visits to a car wash should be avoided, watch out for curbs due to lower ground clearance.
- Recommended tire pressures must be maintained.
- Never drive faster than 80 km/h in vehicles with a spare wheel.
- Vehicles must never have more than one spare wheel fitted at the same time.
- Do not use with snow chains.
- If possible, deactivate the rear axle drive in all-wheel drive vehicles.
- Spare wheels cannot be repaired.
- Spare wheels must always be used in the size approved for the vehicle.
