New forged pistons for Volvo Amazon and PV with B16 engine

New forged pistons in four oversizes for humpback Volvo and Amazon with B16 are now available again exclusively from SKANDIX.
For years now, there have been virtually no piston kits available for the classic, triple-bearing B16, as used in Volvo PV, Duett and Amazon up to 1961.
Recently, parts have become so scarce that the only option for an upcoming engine overhaul is to look for a usable used unit or to convert to a newer engine such as the B18 or B20.
No alternative if the car is to remain original.
Some time ago, there was a reproduction from overseas, but it didn't really meet our quality standards.
There is hardly anything more annoying than a hole in the piston of a freshly overhauled engine. To avoid such problems in the first place, we had forged pistons produced for the B16 by a well-known German original equipment manufacturer.
We have had four oversize sizes manufactured so that an engine that has already been overhauled can also be repaired. The pistons are of excellent quality and manufactured to today's standards. In terms of tolerances and material quality, our new forged pistons are clearly superior to the originals.
