Clip body trim windshield for Volvo 140, 164 and 200

Late Volvo 140, 164 or early 200 have the sheet metal clips for the windshield trim frame located in slots under the windshield.
These clips can only be replaced with the windshield removed. If the windshield of such a car has to be replaced, then these metal clips should also be replaced.
Despite being galvanized, they have often fallen victim to corrosion, and it is not uncommon for the slots in the sheet metal clips on the windscreen frame to be affected. Repair plates have been available again for some time for the lower corners, which are usually affected first (left 1034598, right 1034599).
These sheet metal clips are absolutely essential for using the original trim strip. They have not been available from the vehicle manufacturer for some time, we have had them reproduced. The reproduction corresponds to the original part in terms of shape and dimensions and is galvanized.
Great care should be taken during processing to avoid creating new or additional corrosion nests. We recommend the use of cavity wax (1050100) in the slots of the windshield frame, but this must never be allowed to get onto the subsequent adhesive surface or must be removed without leaving any residue.
