To ensure a tight seal and avoid damaging the oil filter housing, the valve must first be fully inserted into the housing. The seal may be lightly lubricated to facilitate this.
Only then should the screws be tightened. Failure to follow this instruction may cause the valve to warp and leak.
Service instructions:
In order to change parts of the oil filter housing, the engine protection pan must first be dismantled. In this context, we recommend replacing the screws on the protective tray immediately (see accessories, Skandix item 1037443).
