Saab 9000: Only for models with Coil cassette.

Old Saab models up to 1992 were equipped with a cassette in which the harness was firmly connected. With this replacement cassette a separate cable is needed from the models built after 1993. ---> Art No. 1003880

Service instructions:

Caution!

Apply the special grease from the included bag to the inside of every coil before mounting the Cassette! It is recommended to change the spark plugs everytime the Cassette is renewed.

If the Coil Cassette does not generate ignition signals the crankshaft position sensor must be checked too. The fault indication can be confound.
