For the B202i engine, the ignition coil was mounted in a different position during the 1988–1989 model years. Consequently, a longer cable is required between the distributor and the ignition coil.
For this reason, our kit (SKANDIX Part No. 1004326) includes two ignition cables of different lengths for the connection between the coil and the distributor. Depending on the specific engine configuration, one of the two cables will not be needed.
