The Booth (Skandix 1028091) is not a seal but only a protection against dust.
When oil leaks at the point where the shift linkage enters the transmission the radial oil seal (Skandix 1027924) must be replaced. To replace the radial oil seal removing and disassembling parts of the transmission is a must.
The repair kit Skandix 1047048 offers a good alternative. When using this kit the dust boot is left out.
