Alternative solution for the discontinued water pump with a pressed on flange. Easy installation with bolts. An expensive repair of the old water pump is no longer necessary.
Not suitable for retrofitting viscous clutches on vehicles that previously had a rigid standard fan blade. In this case further parts would be needed, which are no longer available.
