The photos of his Saab 9-3 convertible were sent to us by our long-standing customer Georg Panit. The Saab was built in 1998 and has a 2.3-liter engine with 150 hp.

These photos of his Saab 9-3 LPT automatic with 174.000 km, built in 2000 were sent to us by Andreas Marazzi from Switzerland. He bought the car in 2010 as a well-maintained used car, with only 60.000 km on the clock. The vehicle has been free of problems so far and, according to its owner, is slowly but surely maturing towards veteran status.
This year, the Saab 9-3 celebrates its 25th birthday!

Reinhold Lüttig sent us these photos of his SAAB collection consisting of:

At the age of 8, Reinhold walked past the only officially registered SAAB 900 in white (in the style of HuiBuh) in Holzminden and thought to himself that he would like to have one just like it when he was allowed to drive.

As there were hardly any more in Holzminden, SAABs were so expensive and he belonged to a VW family, he looked for his first car at the age of 18. He couldn't find anything that he liked and that suited him, so he didn't own a car for 6 years.

At 24, his new colleague asked him to take the company mail away in her car. When he stood in front of the car, his mouth fell open. He went back and asked if she meant the 900t8v, just to be on the safe side. 14 days later, his first 900 was on his doorstep.

Now, 26 years later, Reinhold is faced with the decision of registering a winter car, because the SAABs are too much of a pity for him and because his daily commute of almost 200 km (there and back) puts quite a strain on the cars.

But everything in him is reluctant to register anything other than a 900, or at least a SAAB.

This photo, which was taken in the Weser Tunnel in 2019, was sent to us by Ulli Krieg. At the time, it was taken by a professional photo team on behalf of the BMW Group at the Creme 21 Youngtimer Rally.

This picture of his 1993 Saab 900 Turbo 16S was sent to us by Martin Sailer from Austria. He bought it in 2010 from a Saab friend there. The Saab in the colour "Rubi" gained fame by being used in the 2003 Mankell film "The Return of the Dancing Master" with Tobias Moretti.
Originally, the car was bought from Saab-Bredlow in Berlin, where at least the first service was done.
