These photos of his P1800 were sent to us by a customer from the USA. Some of the pictures show him with his family at "Road America" in the mid-1980s. The P1800 stood idle from 1996 to 2012 until it was finally refurbished.

John Grandjean from Switzerland sent us these photos of his completely restored 1964 Volvo P210 Duett with a B18A engine.

He shared the following story with us: A single owner who worked at Volvo bought the car new in 1964 and never parted with it until 2019. The car was bought in Växjö in Sweden in 2019 and then brought to Switzerland to be completely restored. The restoration took three and a half years.

Michael Grundmeyer sends us these photos of his Volvo 240 GL and the participation in the Baltic Sea Circle 2023.

"Our goal was to reach the finish line :-) And we were successful. Approx. 8500 km in 16 days without any problems worth mentioning (a squeaking V-belt had to be re-tensioned, the windscreen wiper linkage started to squeak and had to be lubricated and the fuse of the cool box had given up once). But I didn't expect anything else ;-)"

Enclosed are a few impressions from the trip even if, naturally for such an event, there is no highly polished car to be seen.

The Volvo S80 D5 was rebuilt by Nilsson for the Swedish Royal Family and ran for many years in their service. This is why the S80 comes with a bulletproof interior clad in Kevlar as standard. The side windows are also made of bullet-proof glass.

The S80 has been painstakingly restored to top condition. The replacement of the bullet-proof front and rear windows caused damage to the paintwork, resulting in a repaint and the installation of the standard original Volvo windows.

The car is under an original Volvo cover, which was made especially for this car.
