How to repair the upper window winder linkage
30.11.2021We show how to mount the spare roll to the old bracket. The old roll is to be removed by carefully drilling out the rivet.
Insert the new roll with the new pin.
Rivet the roll to the old bracket.
Place the full rivet head on a stable surface and deform the hollow rivet head with hammer blows.
As an aid a pointed pin punch can be used. Professionals are using a rivet stamp.
