SKANDIX builds logistics warehouse in Lutter
We are pleased that we have been able to ship goods from our new logistics warehouse since the beginning of 2023.
The SKANDIX construction project began in 2018 after it became apparent that the previous warehouse space would no longer be sufficient. We were able to acquire a large area adjacent to our previous commercial property at the Lutter site and design it according to our ideas and needs.
In addition to the used business area, there is an area of about 3 hectares with orchard meadow, native hedges, ecological arable land and water areas.
It was important to us that the new building, despite its size of 12,000 sqm, fits in well with the rural surroundings of Lutter. To achieve this, the height of the building was limited to 9 metres and the colour scheme was chosen so that the hall appears small-scale and only slightly stands out from its surroundings.
The logistics building is designed for a long service life and high energy efficiency. The solid walls are 48 cm thick and the insulation material is exclusively wood blow-in insulation. We also used wood and clay for the interior fittings.
The logistics hall offers spacious office areas, modern social rooms and storage areas with manual and high-bay racking.
We look forward to welcoming you as a customer in our new premises. Personal pick up of goods is possible during business hours in our reception area on the ground floor. Please register your visit with our sales team in advance. This way, your goods can be prepared in advance and waiting times can be avoided. Please note that we do not accept cash! Use Pay Pal or card payment instead!
