It is not possible to convert vehicles with xenon headlights to halogen. In this case, the halogen headlight is not recognized by the software. A reprogramming is technically not planned.
There is an early and a late version of the Headlight from 2005. Volvo replaced the Headlights, so the OEM manufacturer Valeo did as well. The Control units are different:
Control unit for early Headlights: Skandix 1046491
Control unit for late Headlights: Skandix 1052035
When ordering a Headlight, due to the replacement you will always get the new version. If the car has the earlier headlights installed it is necessary to use a new control unit, order Skandix 1052035.
Service instructions:
If the lens is defective: The replacement of the lens is not planned in the factory and due to the construction. The complete headlight must be replaced.
