In this heavy duty radiator hose, the T-piece to which the hose to the turbocharger (Skandix 1043949) is connected is made of aluminium and fastened with screw clamps.
A plastic T-piece is glued into the original. A loss of cooling water at this spot can result in reduced cooling of the turbocharger and thus damage to the turbocharger.
