In the 200 series, the Girling brake system is from about year 1980 standard. But be careful with re-imports! There are often ATE brake parts.installed at least on the rear axle.

Detecting the brake pads:
Girling: The holding pins in the caliper are secured with small retaining clips to prevent slipping out.
ATE: The holding pins are spring pins and secure themselves in the caliper.
