This brake disc is supplied without hub and cannot not be easily installed, additional work is required. Please see the service instructions!
Skandix 1017348 is an alternative item with hub which can be installed without additional work.
Brake discs have always to be changed in pairs for each axle! Only replacing both discs ensures safe and problem free brake functionality. We will not deliver single brake discs.
Service instructions:
Brake discs have an extra thickness which must be pressd on the wheel hubs with new studs and sized together with the hub plan. By using a lathe the right size can be reached. Work should only be performed by a specialist with a brake drum lathe.
When fitting new brake discs the vehicle manufacturer's instructions must be observed!
Basically:
- The contact surface of the wheel hub to the brake disc must be completely clean and free of grease.
- Calipers and pads must be free moving. Neither brake system nor suspension may be excessively worn.
- The wheel bolts or nuts must be evenly tightened crosswise with the specified torque.
