Wheel hub with bearing and disc brake are working here together as one piece. Volvo replaced this disk type fas of 1988 with a brake repair kit,where the hub and disc are separate parts.
It is therefore necessary to look at the car, to see which version is installed!
Brake discs have always to be changed in pairs for each axle! Only replacing both discs ensures safe and problem free brake functionality. We will not deliver single brake discs.
Service instructions:
When fitting new brake discs the vehicle manufacturer's instructions must be observed!
Basically:
- The contact surface of the wheel hub to the brake disc must be completely clean and free of grease.
- Calipers and pads must be free moving. Neither brake system nor suspension may be excessively worn.
- The wheel bolts or nuts must be evenly tightened crosswise with the specified torque.
