Formula Z is the name for a floating high-performance brake disc. It consists of an aluminum pot and a maneuverable attached brake ring. It has excellent hot braking performance and is largely insensitive to fading, scratching and pulsating.

The Zimmermann Sport Brake Disc was developed as a result of experience of brake discs in series-production vehicles in connection with racing. The brake system is optimised by combining high-quality cast materials with a perforated braking surface.

Brake discs have always to be changed in pairs for each axle! Only replacing both discs ensures safe and problem free brake functionality. We will not deliver single brake discs.

Service instructions:

When fitting new brake discs the vehicle manufacturer's instructions must be observed!

Basically:

- The contact surface of the wheel hub to the brake disc must be completely clean and free of grease.
- Calipers and pads must be free moving. Neither brake system nor suspension may be excessively worn.
- The wheel bolts or nuts must be evenly tightened crosswise with the specified torque.
