Remove the underbody protection from the area where the reinforcement (B) will be attached.

Remove the underbody protection from the wheel arch in the trunk where the reinforcement (B) will be attached.

The first hole for the reinforcement (B) has to be drilled 15mm left of the wheel housing and 8mm from the bottom edge. Mark the position.

Center punch the marked position.

Use an angle drill to drill the hole. Use a 6.5mm diameter drill.

Make sure that reinforcement (A) and (B) are mutually attached before tightening the screws.

Align the reinforcement exactly to the edge.

Use the reinforcement (B) as a template and drill the two remaining holes with the 6.5mm drill.

Attach the screws through the two previously drilled holes.

Drill the remaining two holes for the reinforcement (A)(due to limited space) use a 4mm drill.

Now you can drill out the holes to 6.5mm from the other side (inside the trumk).

A second pair of hands will be helpful fastening the screws.

Cut out the inner fender where it collides with the reinforcement. Reattach the inner fender.

The screws of the reinforcement should not stand in the way of the inner fender.

To install the reinforcement on the passenger side the silencer and the heat baffle have to be removed.

Remove the muffler (1) and the muffler mounts (2). Then fold the heat baffle downwards (3).
